STEM領域持續擴大　美國磁吸高科技人才

近期，國土安全部新增8個學科領域至STEM學位清單(DHS STEM Designated Degree Program)。這些領域包括：

  • 景觀建築 (Landscape Architecture)
  • 校務研究 (Institutional Research)
  • 電機、機器人技術和自動化工程技術 (Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering Technology/Technician)
  • 語言學與資訊工程 (Linguistics and Computer Science)
  • 青少年發展心理學 (Developmental and Adolescent Psychology)
  • 地理空間情報 (Geospatial Intelligence)
  • 人口統計學和人口研究 (Demography and Population Studies)

持有F-1簽證的國際學生在完成STEM學程後，即具備將OPT (optional practical training) 期限延展24個月的申請資格。
